The DVD is in 2 parts – a 60 minute instructional DVD and a 30 minute workout DVD.
The 60 minute programme is ideal for both beginners and intermediate Pilates exerciser. In the 60 minute instructional section Tanya takes you through each exercise in great detail with emphasis on technique.
She explains what the core is, proper breathing, pelvic tilt and clear instructions for executing each of the 16 basic fundamental exercises she teaches in her 6 week course.
Two of Tanya’s class members participate in the DVD to show variations of each exercise and modifications for making the exercise easier or more challenging. She includes cautions against common mistakes and reminder tips for doing each exercise effectively.
In the 30 minute workout, Tanya does all the exercises alongside her 2 Pilates members and it is done at a more challenging pace.
