Getting Started Feedback

At the Roe Valley business awards held at the Radisson in Limavady on the 13th November we had the pleasure of winning the best New Business award. It was a fantastic night for all involved and it was so amazing to pick up the award. A big thank you has to go to all those people who come to the classes, without your support and input we wouldn’t be where we are now.

Here are some pictures of the big night:

New classes

We have just added another Spin & Abs class and a new class called ‘Kettlebells’. New timetable takes effect from 1st October

TY Fitness Team

The new winter timetable will start on 1st October for both Limavady and Magherafelt studios. The timetable will go on the website on Thursday 30th September

The biggest ever spin class is happening on Saturday 14th August at 2.30pm in TY Fitness, Aghanloo, Limavady.  It is also a family fun day with bouncy castle, face painters and balloon modelling with a BBQ after.  Come along and support our 3 charities, MacMillan, Chest, Heart & Stroke and Motor Neuron Disease.

There is now another ‘Spin & abs’ class on Wednesday evenings at 6pm

The kettlebells have now arrived and we are currently working on putting a class together.  Keep a look out for our new Kettlebell class coming on the time table in the next week or two!

Our Magherafelt studio is opened now a year on 15th June.  To help us celebrate we are having a party at the studio on Saturday 19th June starting at 8pm.  Everyone welcome.

Special Membership offer for Limavady studio – 40% of membership!!  Normal membership is £400 but for the month of June only we are offering a full years membership for £250.  This is payable up front and allows you unlimited use of all classes excluding Pilates.

Getting the most out of your training doesn’t always mean working faster or harder.  The best way to improve your fitness and see results is to train at the right intensity.  So with a heart rate monitor (and a good instructor if using it during a class), you can make sure you’re not over or under training, and make each session count.  A heart rate monitor will motivate you every time you train.  Heart rate monitors range from £39 up to £400!  Some just tell you what your heart rate is, others tell you how many calories you burn during each workout, when you’re fat burning and when you’re calorie burning!  The more complex ones even tell you what to do everyday i.e. it will consider how hard you have been working on the previous days and will tell you if you need to take a recovery day.  This type of training will optimise your fitness levels and help achieve your goals quickly.  Combine a complex heart rate monitor with Tanya Young as your personal trainer and you’re on a winner!!
